To all CASA 47+ Members There was a follow-up meeting held on July 8, 2010 to discuss the upcoming Fall season. Meeting Summary It was agreed by all teams that we would like a better playing surface (i.e. grass) to play on in the Fall Season and would also like some kind of guarantee by the County that this surface would continue to improve in future seasons. It was agreed that we should form a committee made up of Mangers who have a say in what happens to the 47+ division. Tariff Zaki was elected Commissioner (on a temporary basis) and will talk directly to Jose and the County on our behalf. 4 existing teams (AFC, Juventus, Americas and Raiders) wish to stay at Robious and give it another 2 seasons to see how things change and hopefully improve. Amigos and Nomads are currently “sitting on the fence” and will make their decisions based upon Tariff’s discussions with Jose and the County. Pink Panthers and Vipers will not be returning. It was agreed that we will not be under the control of any other outside organization such as MDCVSA. Our next CASA meeting will be planned once Tariff has spoken to Jose (President) and the County.
